I wish I had said something to her, but I froze up and never before was so eager to get done. I wish I had said something to whomever was in charge at the time.
Because of this experience, I will never do another walk-in, and I cannot guarantee all the stylists at Grondin's hold up to the positive expectations a hair stylist should be.
On 11/18/17 around 2pm, I went in for a walk-in appointment because it was the most convenient for me as a college student. While there, a red-haired stylist took care of me. What I expect from stylists besides cutting hair well, is that they are the most kind and sociable persons that bring up great conversations. With this stylist, I did not get this experience from her; in fact, I've never been so eager to get away from her.
My first time there was absolutely fantastic, so I decided to go again not too long ago. However, my second experience made me not want to continue at this salon. It wasn't because the stylist did a poor job on my hair, it was that it became my most awkward hair appointment experience in my life.
Quick and convienient. Cheap for a guys haircut and they are always nice.

When she took care of me, she would interrupt me constantly, go off topic and talk about herself more, and bring up inappropriate topics. For instance, she and I got talking about Christmas cookies. Then, in her smallest, quietest voice, she mentions about how her sister "makes the best cookies ever" that is "better than sex" but she doesn't know "what sex is like" because she's "a virgin" and then she made a quiet-forced laugh. It's one thing to talk about something like that if we knew each other well enough, but because I never had her before, it was inappropriate.
Agree with the review from two years ago. The location is convenient, very nice employees, virtually no wait time ever, and a good value.
