After about an hr and a half wait in the loby with at least 3 ppl going in befor us who where thair after us we finaly go back to a room.
I was a recent patient here was in labor and delivered my baby most of the staff was great but I was not impressed with whoever the late night pediatrician was who sent my son to covenant in Saginaw where my baby had to be taken for fluid in his lungs where they’ve kept him way past the time he needs to be there he’s totally fine now and has been there almost four days when he should’ve been home by now being a first time Mom I’m not impressed with the transfer to covenant!! However doc Odell was amazing and the nurses too but my baby was full term and yes he had fluid in his lungs but this long of a stay is ridiculous u ask me it’s all about money
Reason for the star... Dr remembered my son from this summer.
He seen my boy, had a flu swab taken, and we never seen anyone ageen. 45 min later i push the call button and they come take his temp. And then we sit and wait some more. After we finaly find out its not the flu we still wait for motrin for the fever.
Had a beautiful baby boy delivered there the day staff is awesome the night shift not so much
My daughter is a student at Central Michigan. Away from home. She had an accident where she had a terrible fall in the street. Head, hands, and leg wounds. The ambulance picked her up. She called from the the hospital delirious. I could barely make out what she was saying. About an hour or two later she was bandaged up and sent home. They were going to let my delirious 18 year old kid walk or find her own ride until she protested. I noticed as I talked to her she just didn't seem right. So I asked if they had given her a concussion protocol. She said no. I was furious. I knew from talking to her that she was concussed. No wonder she was talking in circles. Plus she kept saying she was dizzy. How could they miss that? I'm not a doctor and I know that much. I told her to get a ride back up there in the morning and ask for a concussion test. The same head nurse that was on duty the night before was the same one on duty that morning. She had the nerve to say that she "should have" tested for a concussion. They gave her the concussion test and confirmed that she had a concussion. Can't believe that they put bandages on her and sent her home. Without that test! Later, they sent me a humongous bill stating that she didn't have insurance. Apparently they but the insurance numbers in wrong. Smh. I don't know if my kid is safe up there.
We whent in d/t my son having a fever and vomiting. I would have waited but it was the amount that made me nervous.
This hospital is a joke. Daughter went in with being in afib, doctor did nothing but stand outside of room at desk joking. He did nothing!
