Love this place. Its quiet and near to CMU university. If you are a small family this is a nice place to live.
I moved in on a Saturday in WestPoint village. I used to live four hour south of mount pleasant. A month before moved in, I checked out the sample house at the back of the leasing office and was told that all the apartments are same type and same appliances. One week before I moved in I was allotted an apartment.
1. When I arrived I was welcomed by a very rude receptionist who did my check-in process. She was reluctant to show me my apartment before I sign all documents related to move-in. But after a long verbal argument, she adamantly gave me the keys to check out the apartment.
4. The design of the apartment turns out to be very inconvenient, Appliances are completely different (very Cheap quality) than what they showed me in the sample house.
2. To my surprise, the apartment was very unclean. Couple of socket boards were hanging out the wall, bathrooms were filthy and most ridiculous part was the kitchen cabinets. There were some yellow and red spices spilled all over the kitchen cabinets. It was clear that the maintenance person did not bother to open these cabinets after the previous tenant moved out.

3. When I signed my lease documents before a week and send it over the mail, I should have been told that I the apartment will not have electric and gas connection at all. Since, I moved in on Saturday, i had to stay with out the gas and electricity until Monday because utility company could not send anybody during the weekend to connect electric connection. Emergency maintenance and management of the apartment were completely unhelpful.
Bad service, Bad quality, and bad price.
I am sure I will continue having problems with these guys during my stay here. I will never every stay at UNITED property in future.
Great extras that come with the Lease and the complex is very nice, all for a good price.
