Seems like a nice clean place. Also seems like they try really hard for you to not take home an animal. My sister wanted to adopt a neutered male cat but they denied her because she currently has a male hunting dog that lives outside that is not neutered. I tried to adopt a cat also but was denied because my husband who is only living at home 3 days out of the month due to his work was not with me and our children.

Hands down the worst shelter I have ever visisted. Today I visited in hopes that I would find a friend for my 1 year old cat bagheera. I walked in and asked if I could look around at the cats I was told yes. I spotted a five year old male who looked awesome. I asked one of the girls if I could meet him to get a feel for his personality when she responded (rudely) that I couldn't unless I was interested in adopting or to let them know if I want to volunteer. I told her I was and I filled out a pre adoption application, after I gave it to the "adoption supervisor" she didn't even look at it but proceeded to ask me questions. The second question was about declawing and I said my current cat has her fronts out and she immediately denied me. Her response was that they didn't believe in it and that the conversation was over unless I came back and changed my mind about declawing but than I would be put on a list to make sure I wasn't lying. I get that people don't believe in declawing but unfortunately being a renter I have to, it upsets me that so many cats will grow old and probably die in there because of that policy. I felt very judged with the way the workers acted towards me the minute I walked thru the door. I went to pet smart where I told the manager about the whole thing and her response which this shelter should seriously consider was that she didn't believe in declawing but it's not her business or choice and she isn't going to deny people who can give animals a good home based off them choosing to declaw or not and that I could adopt right than if I wanted because she had an actual conversation with me unlike the shelter. It was just disappointing all the way around.

Good pricing for getting pets taken care of

Was treated rude by the whole staff n was interested n a dog they had said was good with other animals n kids n that we could meet him.. but got a call saying he can only be n an a home with adults...they lie to people cause the website said way different then they had told me...i dont think they like Brown people cause they even was looking at me like i was bothering them...they made me feel uncomfortable....i will be letting everyone know how they r....the dog would of been loved n had a good home but now who knows who he will go to.

Very well kept location. Love the staff. Love the animals. Some of the rules however are silly. Wanted to volunteer for a week but was told I couldn't because we needed to take a class that wasn't offered this week. Visited the animals all week anyway.
