Has good playground style equipment for children in warm weather. Has lavatories available. Has Grills as permanent fixtures. Covered picnic table areas available in warm weather (Spring & Summer). Patrolled by Rangers. (Schools felt they could bring students as a field trip-felt it safe).
Has a nice trail to walk with kids. Has a spot with binoculars to look at the river with. Also has an access ramp to Chippewa river.
Cute little park (especially the trails behind the park)
At the moment it smells like exhaust and industrial fumes. It is also loud and you can hear a lot of vehicles. I wouldn't suggest it if you want a more peaceful nature experience.
