Very good food, but sometimes the portions are a little small. Other than that, the staff are very nice and the place is usually kept very clean.
Low key all American fare. Great prices. Great promotions.
My husband and I haven't been out for dinner in a while, so went to Applebee's, not in pressed. Ordered a medium steak and so did he, well it took about 20-25 minutes, which was okay, when it arrived, waiter wanted us to check if it was alright and I cut into mine, the steak was bloody and leaked blood Al over my plate. The waiter went and got another plate and took the steak. We called him back to take the whole plate, because blood ended up in my veggies and potatoes. This is not the first time I have had with them cooking steak. My steak was back within 8 minutes, and cooked right, brought by the manager, my husband was almost done with his dinner. Didn't feel the waiter was very concerned with this, and they didn't even give us any type of discount or offer a free dessert. If I was a food critic would rate food, the first time a 2, second steak 7, service, 1.
I just love their pretzels and beer cheese sauce! It is one of their very best appetizers. The service is pretty great too.b
One bad employee can ruin it for everyone. I used to really like this place until I had a bad experience with a bartender. She was rude and obnoxious. I made a complaint which wasn't taken very seriously by management and resulted in me being talked about and pointed out on my next visit by other employees. If there was another Applebee's closer I would never visit this one again. Unfortunately there isn't and we really like the food there. Always good food regardless of the service.
