There are times when we love Crankers and times when we hate it. They seem to be in a slump now. Two bad experiences in a row. I think it's new cooks.
This place is terrible. Ordered fish and tasted like they cook everything in the same grease. The French fries were almost cold. I could not eat my dinner. My wife has chicken strips and they didn't taste very good either. Go anywhere for dinner in Mt. Pleasant but not here.
Great menu options, actual smoked brisket and ribs! Cozy and unique decor! Their beer is top notch, I was really impressed, considering in a chef as well as a beer snob! A hidden gem, when word gets out, you will have to wait to get in! Also, they have breakfast! I'm so sick of chain restaurant breakfast, this is actual cooked to order food! Prices are, in my opinion, too low for what you get! I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place! For real, try the beers, even if it's breakfast time, I won't judge!
We've passed this restaurant multiple times and today we decided to see what it was all about. Sadly my expections were no where close to what I received. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. Sadly the service was no match for the food we received. The meat was hard and old tasted like it had been frozen for a while and just reheated. The fries were terrible and there were flies all over the restaurant. The only thing good about the restaurant was beer but I could go to any other brewery and be just as impressed. I wouldn't recommend.
Used to go here all the time on the way home from our place in Harrison and loved. Not anymore will NEVER go back place was dirty, tables were not cleaned off. Took 20 minutes before waitress came to our table didn't ask what we wanted to drink just gave us water. Took another 20 minutes to come back to take our orders. We ordered our drinks with it never got them had to ask another waitress for them then our waitress yelled at her for getting them. When we finally received our orders half of it was missing and we had to ask for it or it was cold. She tried saying it was because they were busy. Um sorry no you weren't it was called your waitress was UNPROFESSIONAL and didn't want to be there.
