I brought my toy poodle in to get the basics done and Deanna took care of her for me. I’ve had my dog for a couple years now and she usually gets groomed every couple of months. However, this is my first time at Mt pleasant pet smart as I am visiting from out of state. I was so impressed with Deanna and what she did to my dog and my standard is kind of high. By far the best anyone has ever made my dog look and I have gone to some amazing groomers in the past. It’s pretty obvious that Deanna is very talented at what she does and was great to work with in the process! Very happy customer!
From what we could see, they took care of our dog really good they give us a report card on our dog and groomed him the way we wanted, they also gave our dog a bandana that said on it " I am so handsome " I thought that was great. What I didn't like about the store is that they don't have prices on most of the cat & dog item's so if you want to know how much something is you have to keep going back up to the register and ask how much it is....they should have one of those self scan so you don't have to keep bugging the person at the register..
I only gave it a 3 because they didn't have what I was looking for but very nice people work there they were very helpful
Brought my dog into petsmart to get a routine nail trim. He is very anxious when he gets his nails trimmed, but they've always done a good job. Today I took my boy bear in to get his nails trimmed and we worked with a new lady behind the counter I've never seen before. At first she didn't know how to use the computer which through up a red flag for me that she was new.... I trusted in petsmart staff that they would only hire someone who knew what they were doing with our beloved pets. I was walking through the store picking out treats for bear for when he was done, when I heard an aweful cry and he kept on crying.... The lady then waved me into the pet care center. She told me she was only able to trim 1 of his 4 paws because he was to anxious. When I looked, bear was bleeding not from 2 but 3 of his nails! She had cut 3 of the 4 nails too short and my dog was in an enormous amount of pain, Limping out of the store! There isn't just a vein in a dogs nail, it's a nerve!!! I'm sure it hurt terribly. They told me they would compensate me by giving me a free nail trim because of what happened. I'll never bring bear back to petsmart again. I think others should think before trusting them with their beloved pet. Petsmart is lucky I cannot upload the photo of Bears poor paw!
The animals are well taken care of and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Got my mouse there.
